About Me

Welcome! My name is Gerwin (pronounced with a soft "G") and I am a portrait, product and event photographer based in Seattle, Washington. With 10+ years of experience I would love to capture posed and real moments of your lives for you to cherish and remember.

Film photography started it all for me back in elementary school when I was given a disposable camera for camping. Since then, I’ve been viewing everything from a different perspective. I was given the chance to expand in high school by taking film photography classes for 2 and a half years. Transitioning to digital with film photography in my arsenal made it easy. Slowing down and thinking about every single frame as you only have 36 shots in a roll makes you think carefully of every shot you take. Since then, I have brought a camera with me everywhere almost every weekend capturing fleeting moments either on film or on my digital camera. 

When I'm not out on a shoot, I am with my beautiful wife trying out new restaurants, or we are out enjoying time with family.

Other than photography, I’ve dabbled in videography by second shooting for weddings. Thank you for dropping by and viewing my photos. I look forward to working with you!
